Author Reputation is something that many people do not consider. But, it is becoming more important than ever.
Author reputation is starting to effect search result pages. If an author is known for posting content that people enjoy and is truthful/helpful, they tend to rank higher than someone who has shared fake news or has a bad reputation on social media.
It’s really crazy to me that this has been built into Google’s search algorithm. But, it does make a lot of sense. Take a few minutes to read the following blog post from Search Engine Journal’s blog.
